Russia has allocated a billion dollars to Syria

Russia has allocated more than $ 1 billion (or more than 76 billion rubles) to Syria for the restoration of power grids, industrial complex and other humanitarian purposes, said Mikhail Mizintsev, head of the Russian-Syrian interagency coordination headquarters for the return of refugees.

Earlier, on November 9, it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin held telephone talks with the head of Syria, Bashar al-Assad. The conversation was about plans to normalize the situation in Syria: in this area, Russia is carrying out a number of medical, educational, construction and scientific and technical projects.
